Incubator: an evening of new & experimental dance

Join us for an evening of new and experimental dance works by members of the local community.

In the spirit of the historic Dark Salons, we’re changing the name of the event to INCUBATOR to more accurately reflect the supportive and nurturing environment for emerging and established dancers to present work.

Dancers are encouraged to create and share work that is primarily focused on their process and that supports their practice, without emphasis on polished, fully costumed or completed work – unless of course that’s the goal!

For September’s show, we’ll also be providing the audience the opportunity to provide reactions and responses to work from dancers who are interested in receiving that feedback.

All are welcome to present work – currently (August 10), there are 2 spots open.

All are welcome to attend. Please note that the studio is on the second floor.

Admission is by suggested donation of $5-$10 at the door.
