Hamilton Arts Hub Mic Pass

Kick-off summer at the Hamilton Arts Hub Mic Pass, an afternoon of speakers, poetry, drag, and music at Collective Arts Beer Garden on June 17th at 2pm.

Industry and partners have been working on a study towards the building of a performing arts hub for Hamilton, a space based on contemporary values, perspectives, and needs.

Now, as a signature event of Hamilton Arts Week, we want to share what we learned, and offer a possibility for what might lie ahead. We’d love to see you there!

You’ll hear from arts and community leaders Cher Obediah (Artist & Speaker), Robin Lacambra (GoodBodyFeel/The Safer Spaces Project), Heather Kanabe (Hamilton Fringe Festival), Matthew MacFadzean (Industry), Koubra Haggar (Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion), and Matt Webber (Berkeley North), as well as from consultancy Bespoke Collective.

You’ll also hear slam poet Eddie Lartey (Hamilton You Poets) plus a performance from Hexe Noire with Angela Josephine & Nimmi KlaraDJ Fazooli will be spinning.

Did we mention it’s 100% FREE? This is a family-friendly event with childcare and kids activities to keep little ones busy and engaged. Non-alcoholic drink options available.

The Collective Arts Beergarden is wheelchair accessible, and if you have any other access needs (ASL interpretation, etc.) please let us know at maddie@industrypresents.com, and we will do our best to ensure your full participation.

The event is finished.
